Toxitron

This was another natural combination for me. This Decepticon is definitely more than meets the eye. A slight departure for me on this one. Instead of just straight up paint on canvas, this is a combo of illustration, and digital design.

Tarot Woman

I dream of a place, a smile on a bright, shining face...

This Tarot Woman wants to predict your future, but perhaps (judging from the slight smirk, and twinkle in her eye) she already knows your fate, even before you draw a card.

Model: the lovely, lovely Rydell Suicide.

Sacred Heart

First off, Hoo-fucking-ray, finally got the new gear, so better pics are here.

Here she is, the stunning Pthalo. This is one of those cases where it's one of the first in the series that I started, but took awhile for me to finish. A number of revisions, etc, but I think I finally got it to where I want it.

24 x 36 Oil/Spray Paint on canvas.

Rainbow in the Dark & Stargazer

It's been a little while since I was inspired enough to come up with a new series that I really wanted to work on. A few one-offs here and there, but nothing to really get into and have fun with - but then it hit me.

Two of the things that definitely make my rockin' world go round: Beautiful women & metal. While jammin' to some Ronnie James Dio, I happened to be perusing The Suicide Girls website, and much like the fabled man with chocolate running into man with peanut butter, a magical, mystical combination was formed. SG's & RJD, what could be better?

So, as epiphanies will do, this one really got me going. Most of the women were extremely sweet, gracious, and fucking awesome about it, some were total douchbags, but hey, that's life. Truth be told, the truly exquisite SG's that I really wanted to depict were down with it, so fuck the others. Just goes to show how truly beautiful these women are - for as jaw-droppingly, eye-poppingly, and mind-blowingly gorgeous they are on the outside, they are just as wonderful on the inside - kinda makes you want to jump off a building, don't it?

So, in any case, I'm going to do my best to incorporate the beauty of their form with the awesome fucking beauty of Dio's music. But, with the raw materials I have to work with, how can I go wrong?

Disclaimer - On my return home from Helsinki, I found my DSLR pretty much destroyed beyond repair. I have a new one on the way, but, in the meantime, the pics below were taken with my shitty 8-year-old point and shoot. Once the new camera arrives, I will revise with better shots.

Here are the first of several to come:

SG - Rainbow / RJD - Rainbow in the Dark (pretty fucking clever, ain't I?)

24 x 36 (the canvas, not her, although, probably not far off) Oil on Canvas.

SG - Ackley / RJD - Stargazer

24 x 36 - Oil/Spray Paint on Canvas.

More to come.

Coming soon...
Pthalo - Sacred Heart, Leandra - Dream Evil
